Directional Type "C" Polyurethane (LCPOLYSAY)
Also referred to as Leading Tactiles, they consist of a series of raised, elongated bars installed to the walking surface, oriented in line with the continuous accessible path of travel.
Directional surface indicators provide directional guidence to safely lead pedestrians along a continuous accessible route. They also give directional orientation to a person who must deviate from the continuous accessible path to gain access to a pedestrian crossing point, public transport access point, or point of entry to a significant public facility eg, public toilet, information centre where the Directional Tactile Indicators will often terminate at a pad of Warning Tactile Indicators.
